Each centre runs five testing slots a day with a fixed cylinder capacity, so your vehicle is never kept waiting. Green means open, orange means filling fast.

Remaining CNG is vented safely, the cylinder is unbolted from the vehicle and the valve is removed.
Inside and out: we look for dents, cuts, corrosion, bulges, fire damage and thread wear against the rejection criteria.
The cylinder is filled with water and placed in a water-jacket — water, not gas, so the test itself is completely safe.
Pressure is raised to 1.5× the 200 bar working pressure and held. The cylinder's stretch is measured precisely.
After release, the cylinder must return to shape. Permanent expansion above the limit means it fails and is condemned.
The cylinder is dried internally, the valve is refitted to the correct torque and leak tested with gas.
The new test date is stamped, the cylinder is refitted and you receive a test certificate — valid for the next 3 years.

Every 3 years from the date of manufacture or the last hydro test. The date is stamped on the cylinder shoulder and printed on your previous certificate. Fuel stations can refuse to fill a cylinder with an expired test.

About 2–3 hours for a single cylinder including removal and refitting. Valve replacement takes under an hour; kit retrofitment takes one working day.
